Collins Ovat (Head of Litigation – Lagos)

Collins Esirat Ovat is an Associate Partner and the Head of Litigation, Lagos Office. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Calabar, Calabar, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws Degree at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt. He is a member of several professional bodies.

Mr. Ovat is a result-oriented member of the firm with over a decade of experience and a steadfast commitment to protecting clients’ interests.

Prior to joining Premium Partners as the Head of Litigation, Lagos, he honed his skills at K. T. N. Nwanebo & Co. during his NYSC service year before joining A. Nwuke & Associates, Port Harcourt where he coordinated the firm’s client portfolio of government agencies, multinational corporations, host communities, and individual clients seeking expert guidance on complex transactions spanning intellectual property, taxation, alternative dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, energy and natural resources and high-stakes litigation.
