Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solicitor with 3–5 years post-call experience to join our Lekki office. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling client matters, supporting senior counsel, and contributing to the firm’s business development and knowledge management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft court processes, contracts, legal opinions, and transactional documents

•Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare well-reasoned advisory

•Manage litigation files and appear in court where required

•Interface with clients and provide timely legal updates

•Participate in negotiations and dispute resolution proceedings

•Support corporate and commercial transactions

•Ensure proper time recording and matter management in line with the firm’s billing policy

•Contribute to business development and thought-leadership publications

Requirements

•LL.B and B.L from accredited institutions

•3–5 years post-call experience in a reputable law firm

•Strong experience in litigation and/or commercial practice

•Excellent drafting and research skills

•Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities

•Sound understanding of Nigerian legal and regulatory environment

•Ability to work independently and within a team

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
